The Friends of the Library was formed to establish a free public library system in Collier County. The ongoing mission of the Friends is to support and to enrich the services of the Collier County Public Library System. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. NATIONAL FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY WEEK

October 19 through the 25 marks the 9th annual National Friends of the Library Week, a time to celebrate the many ways that library Friends groups across the country serve their communities.
Friends of the Library of Collier County helps to fund many programs and services for the ten branches of our library system. Why not stop by your local branch to find out how you can support this nonprofit organization that has been serving the community for over 50 years?
