Nick Linn Lecture Series

January – March
The Nick Linn Lecture Series is the main fundraiser for Friends of the Library.  The 2024 season will be the twenty-first season that readers will gather and listen to authors who know how to entertain our minds and spirits with words, characters and stories. New York Times best-selling authors participate in this event. To request a ticket and be placed on the wait list, email Marlene Haywood at mhaywood@collier-friends.org or call the office 239-262-8135 and leave a message.  Tickets are available for current members of the Friends of the Library.

Nonfiction Author Lecture Series

January-March

We are pleased to announce the 2024 Nonfiction Author Series will be held at the Hilton Naples and will include breakfast.  Tickets will be available initially only for the entire series.  A decision will be made in January whether to make tickets available to individual events.  Seating is limited, and so it would be good to book your tickets sooner rather than later.

Author Spotlight Events

October and April
The Author Spotlight Events will be held in downtown Naples at The Norris Center. Come to The Norris Center for popular authors who will stimulate and delight you with their stories and ideas…make it a day and have lunch first at one of the many wonderful restaurants in Naples.

These events are member-only performances or lectures. The programs are held at one of the three regional library locations with wonderful performers and lecturers engaged to stimulate our minds and entertain us. Please follow the COVID restrictions posted at the library.
